Main Arm Upper Public School
NatureScapes, in partnership with Bennett Constructions, undertook the restoration of Main Arm Upper Primary School's outdoor area, which was significantly damaged by the NSW floods.
NatureScapes was tasked with creating a garden bed area and a sensory garden, along with providing turf laying and mulching services. The team developed a child-friendly, educational space, incorporating symmetrical garden beds with bush rock and steel edges, and a sensory garden filled with native plants like thyme, mint, and lavender, as well as various tactile materials for children's exploration. Additionally, sandstone blocks were installed for dual-purpose classroom seating. This project successfully transformed the flood-affected school into a welcoming, educational oasis.
